Tracing back to the start of our journey
The story of WeCommunities began in 2017. And, in a way, our tale is deeply intertwined with Bengaluru’s vibrant spirit. This place, with its promise of success and opportunity, draws people from all walks of life. Yet, amidst the hustles, many of us yearn for a sanctuary—a place where we can immerse ourselves in nature without forfeiting the comforts of city living.
The desire for this lifestyle inspired us to initiate our first community, Tamarind Valley Collective, just a short drive from Bengaluru. Today, we operate multiple thriving farming collectives, with plans to expand across the Indian subcontinent.
Our collectives and farmsteads offer more than an escape; they reconnect us with nature, fostering a lifestyle with chemical-free food and eco-friendly housing. So far, we’ve partnered with several like-minded individuals, farm design and housing experts, community members, and residents, continually learning and evolving together.

A life rich in nature, connection, and purpose
Our collectives and farmsteads go beyond being just a weekend getaway or a retirement house. It’s a place where communities unite and like-minded people work collaboratively to build a well-balanced lifestyle.
Away from the city yet close to it
The locations for our farms are picked strategically. This ensures that all our community members get to enjoy the perks of a lifestyle amidst natural surroundings and return to the city whenever needed.
Making farm living a lifestyle choice
We are committed to promoting an eco-conscious lifestyle. Our eco-conscious houses and chemical-free farming practices ensure members live healthily and harmoniously with the environment.
Following a community-centric approach
We place a strong emphasis on building close-knit communities. Our spaces are designed to foster connection and collaboration among residents, creating a true sense of belonging.
Collaborative development as a community
We continuously innovate and improve our offerings by collaborating with partners and members. This collaborative spirit ensures our communities remain dynamic and responsive to every member’s needs.
Life with WeCommunities
Nature has long been our first home. And yet, it has endured years of neglect and degradation, bearing the scars of our ongoing indifference. Guided by agroforestry and permaculture principles and our expert farm design partners, we aim to cultivate a symbiotic relationship with the land. To serve this purpose, we need community members who share our goals with us and are willing to lead the way towards a sustainable coexistence. That is why our farms operate with a collaborative and community-first approach, where each individual involved contributes uniquely to nurturing a well-balanced lifestyle within the collectives and farmsteads.

Building a new way of living
At WeCommunities, we are creating farms offering a unique lifestyle that combines sustainable living with a strong sense of community. Our farms provide a way of life where members come together to create, collaborate, and thrive. From chemical-free farming practices to eco-friendly custom-designed houses, we offer a holistic environment that nurtures both people and the land.

Our community-first approach
We place a strong emphasis on building close-knit communities. Our spaces are designed to foster connection and collaboration among residents, creating a true sense of belonging.

Embracing natural, chemical-free farming
Our farms grow various exotic and local produce using natural, chemical-free methods. We avoid using harmful pesticides and focus on eco-conscious practices for everything we do.

Creating farm-to- table meals for all
Our community kitchens prepare full-course meals using our farm’s chemical-free produce. We love experimenting with local recipes, offering members a diverse culinary experience.

Access to fresh farm produce and products
Our members get direct access to chemical-free produce and products from our farms, including pulses, vegetables, fruits, dairy products, and more. We also create unique products like ghee, oil, cookies, pickles, and more.

Eco-friendly custom houses
Our houses are mostly built with locally sourced, nature-friendly materials. Members can collaborate with architects to design custom houses featuring eco-friendly features like rainwater harvesting.
